FIRST EXPERIENCE OF PATTAYA | A SHOT ON THE BEACH-Pattaya |
I have never visited this place on any of my previous trips to Thailand, even though it is very close to Bangkok. This was mainly due to many of the 'bad" stories I've heard about this place from my first trip. Now that I have gotten more used to being in Thailand, I decided to finally check it out for myself.
I travelled here with my girlfriend this time and I'm sure this helped to keep the "bad" element away from me. Even though I could still hear and see everything, being with her kept me out of trouble...hehe. It also gave us the chance to sit back and have some laughs while out at the bar.
We spent time listening to music in our room, hanging out on the beach during the day, and going out to eat/party at night (see tips for more info). The beach was pretty good I thought, compared to many of the stories I had heard on other trips.
It was a good time for me and really enjoyed my first stop away from Bangkok here for this trip. I was looking forward to finally being able to relax and get some sun, so this was definitely a nice start. |
