"SURVIVAL TOUR" 2004/2005-KRABI

ONLY IN KRABI FOR 1 DAY

TIDE OUT-Krabi
As the title states my visit to Krabi was a short one this time. When we arrived it was late in the afternoon, so we found a room to stay in and then went for someting to eat. We didn't do too much here as we left for Koh Phi Phi early the next morning. We did however walk around the city at night, while we were looking for a long distance phone that worked. After finding one, we went to a couple of different bars to quench the thirst that had built up by this point.

I would come back here the next time I visit Thailand, just to do and see more of Krabi than I did, especially the beaches.

SECOND TRIP SHORT STAY-FEBRUARY 2005

My visit to Krabi was again very short, I was mostly waiting for transit to Koh Lanta. I did stay for a couple of nights and had some fun a local bar called "CRAZY". I still would like to go back and visit around the city more, as well as hit the beaches.

THIRD TRIP STILL ONLY 1 NIGHT-APR 2006

Once again while travelling south from Bangkok, only this time with my girlfriend, I stayed overnight in Krabi. After arriving this time we went straight to our hotel called the Greenery from the airport. We had a quick shower and change then went out for something to eat and drink. There was a restaurant quite close and they had live music, so we gave it a try. It turned to serve nice food and after watching the band for a little while, we decided to head back to the room and get ready for the next part of our trip.
In the morning we checked out and were taken to the pier to await our boat ride down to Koh Lanta. We had planned to come back a liitle early and see the beaches around Krabi, but unfortunately we stayed too long on Lanta.
