Niagara Falls USA & Canada | American Falls from Observation Tower |
Flew in from Newark and took a taxi from Buffalo to our hotel which was the Ramada Inn by the Falls. Taxi cost us $60 and immediately found out that transport is expensive here.
We spent 6 nights on the USA side and so had plenty of time to explore this side and also the Canadian side.
Incontrary to what when people say we preferred the USA side since we found it more appealing with regards to nature. You can actually walk by the rapids and you can see allot of wildlife.
Althought the view from the Canadian side is nicer and also the landscaping is lovely, we found the Canadian side too commercial and busy with many tourists around.
We started by purchasing a Passport to the Falls which includes a whole day trolley access and also entrances to Observation tower, Maid of the mist, Cave of the Winds ,Aquarium of Naigara, Niagara Gorge Discovery Centre and many more discounts. |

Rain panchos are given togehter with a souvenier post card.
Once you get under the horse shoe falls the experience is awesome. You cant really breathe with all that water spray and wind you feel. |
