This is a must! The treasures of Tut, who was a minor king, are astronomical. You can only imagine the stuff that was looted from wealthier kings who had a longer reign.

It's really hard to say anything that hasn't already been said.
The only down side is that you really have to get up very early to go to Giza. It gets to about 90F before 10am...It's worth it!

You must get lost in the bazaars

It's not Walmart

No trip to any country that has a bazaar is complete without meandering thru one. The contrasts is Egypt are remarkable! Imagine, donkey poop and cell phones.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Friendly people & lots to see.
Cons:Insane drivers, and persistent hawkers.
In a nutshell:Major contrasts. Donkey cart drivers talking on cell phones.
