We loved Beijing!

The city is really easy to get around by taxi. We had each location we wanted to visit written in Chines on the back of the hotel's card, and just showed it to the driver.

Great tips! The tricycle rickshaws are the best way to visit the hutongs and you seem to have grasped the art of taking a taxi in Beijing. Put those lazy hotel concierges to work! Good job!
