This ring fort is a big round circle and has served as lookout point to see enemies coming and was build around 1000 AD (!)... And what a lookout!........The views over Lough Swilly and Lough Foyle are breathtaking!!!
It is build on a hill that has been a buriel place long before the castle was built here.

Cliffs of Bunglass

Donegal County, The Cliffs of Bunglass

The Cliffs of Bunglass are even more beautiful then the famous Cliffs of Moher. The cliffs are the highest maritime cliffs in Europe.
I was lucky I had a ride of two Singaporese girls so I could go there.
The views at these cliffs are breathtaking but it can be extremely windy here and the walk up the cliffs is hard so be carefull!!

The Octagon, Westport Centre - Ireland

The Octagon, Westport Centre

Westport

Westport is beautiful town where all the streets are going up and down which gives it some romantic touch.
There are some great walks in the surroundings....ask at the local Tourist Information Centre and they will provide you with a map.
Be sure to take a hike to the harbour and Westport Lake.
You can also go in the footsteps of a lot of pilgrims and go up Crough's Patrick or pay a visit to The Clew Bay Heritage Centre.
Check out the walk along the train rails which is not too long but very beautiful and relaxing.

Cliffs of Moher - Ireland

Cliffs of Moher

The Cliffs of Moher Cliffs of Moher Review

The Cliffs of Moher are one the best known visitor attractions of Ireland but nevertheless it is more then worth to spend half a day there.
If you really want to enjoy these enormous cliffs don't go with a tour cause thay will give you an hour at the most and you only get to see the paved path.
Take a bus from Galway straight to the Cliffs and take the path that is not paved and you can walk for a serious distance along the cliffs!!!!!

Address: The Cliffs of Moher, County Clare

Directions: Close to the town called Doolin and you can take a bus from Galway that will drop you off right at the Cliffs.
