Visited Lisbon as part of a cruise itinerary so only had a day here, spent part of that just wondering around the Baxia area, Lisbons natural centre, full of squares, pedestrian streets and unusual sights.
Firstly though arriving in Lisbon by boat the first thing that hits you is the bridge, the Pont 25 Avril, which looks a carbon copy of the Golden Gate.
This strange looking peice of architecture is a way of gettin round walking up some steep hills.
See tips, but if you can go along to the Zoo, there ain't much in the way of barriers.
- Pros:seemed a nice place on a Sunny Day.
- Cons:usual mix of locals hassling you, rolex, sunglasses, hashiesh(!)
- In a nutshell:Get close to the wildlife, go to the Zoo
