Beach & beach bar & snack bar - Santiago de Cuba

Description:
Nice clean room, with ocean view and no cucarachas. The food was good, not great, but the staff were friendly, helpful and entertaining. There was some form of live music most evenings during supper followed by a show. Two bars, beach and pool, free bikes and snorkelling gear available. It was better than we expected and we got more than our money's worth.

Unique Qualities:
The beach is small and rocky, but the snorkelling was excellent. The setting is beautiful, up against virtical cliffs full of caves and holes. There are iguanas, crabs, hummingbirds and other wildlife around to keep the nature lover entertained and of course Santiago de Cuba is only a CUC15 cab ride away for the party goers and those that like bustling cities.
Our cost was CDN$1322/person for 14 days, airfare and taxes included
