A view of an Arteni Village Farm Yard

A View of the Farm Life in Arteni Village

This is a view of the yard the villagers lived in Arteni village.. In the back, you can see a door which leads to where they keep their three cows and a couple of sheep. They were very happy because their female cow had just given birth recently and they were very excited abou that..
It's amazing, every person's home you walk into in Armenia, regardless if it is a farm home or in the city, people's hospitality and their attitude towards guests is just unexplainable.. They always are so generous with what they have.. Sometimes, what they have is so little but they insist that you share it with them.. It is this fact that brought tears to our eyes in a few instances.. Never I have come across genuine hospitable people as such.. It's a wonderfu feeling...

Villager picking up apricots - K'aghak' Ashtarak

Villager picking up apricots

Villager Picking Up Apricots for us to Buy

In this photo, you can see the villager wife picking up apricots from the pile and putting them in the bag for us.. They were very hospitable and had extraordinary personalities.. I would love to visit them again on my next trip to Armenia and to Arteni Village.
