Proudly Preserving my Park Use Ticket

My Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park Use Ticket
One of the most memorable times of our trip to Australia in 2005 was the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park ("Ayer's Rock" and "The Olgas") visit. We took a bus from Alice Springs which drove us from our hostel, Annie's Place to Ayer's Rock. We were companied by a group of young boys and girls from different parts of the world.. We had Germans, Italians, South Koreans, Chinese, English, Australians, Canadians and Japanese on board the bus.. We were stuck together for 3 days and 2 nights of camping in swags in the desert in the middle of Outback.. We were really roughing it as we slept in the desert, NOT in camping sites but in the middle of the desert with no water or toilet facilities...
The Uluru park is wonderful.. It is a site protected by the UNESCO World Herritage Organization and for all the good reasons.. It has history and culture all over its great red tall walls.... It was a lot of fun!!!

"Please Don't Climb Uluru" = your best tip. But also the others are interesting. We loved it to be in the desert. Just not enough time to do the walk around Uluru.
