Bath straddles the river Avon, and atop a hot springs that was used as a spa by the Romans, and later again by those in the Victorian era. This is a must-see in England; the Georgian architecture is magnificent.
If you're young, you should be able to trek to all the Bath must-see sites on foot without difficulty.
Bath has exquisite examples of Georgian architecture, such as found on the Circus (shown here) and the Royal Crescent.
