People are passionate towards the future, however, they have not forgotten a single moment of their past – the origin of their spiritual resources. The country represents the realisation of a dream born of a people’s will to return to their homeland after twenty centuries of Diaspora. It is a microcosm of ethnic groups, a meeting point of peoples, cultures, and civilisations all drawn to this strip of land by the promise of the biblical prophecy.
Israel is a land of ancestral history and unexpected natural beauty, but it´s the human landscape that best portrays this new nation as a vital presence in the world today.
In Israel, Jews are no longer simple Jews but different types of Jews. They are loved, hated and feared because of the important role leading the country and the military power. From the inside, Israel is a fractional world where history, politics and ethnics are marked with deep divisions. They all try to create a future and a new life. |

| | Israel, my first destination outside Europe I never thought what was going to be my first destination outside Europe; neither imagined that could be the BEAUTY OF ISRAEL. Many people has been disappointed with me while travelling to this country at this time because the political and religious disputes and terrorist attacks... however, I would like to say that disputes are everywhere in this crazy planet, even here in Spain we have the in the North.
I would like to think that I was lucky to be there at this time, and to experience all from closer and not through the Media.
Israel has enlightened me in many ways. From the beauty of a variety of landscapes to the kind-heartedness of some people I have found in my way while travelling there. It has been a really unique experience and a way to enter in the past, to share about the future and to grow up personally.
What else I can say… I really fell in love of Israel! |
The story of HANASICH AKATAN Some people know that I do love books... and some of my close friends know that the book of The Little Prince is my favourite book ever! Actually, I do collect them in each language I can find.
This time in Israel was very weird in how I found the trace of Ha Nasich Ha Katan. From the very fist day being in Tel Aviv and walking by Jaffa market (Old city of Tel Aviv), David and me found a magazine in which David uses to write reportages and stories of his travels.... and what was the surprise, when he found the one talking about Hanasich Akatan !! He bought it and give me as a present. Very nice !!
Besides, one of the other days I was walking myself by Tel Aviv and suddendly a girl came to me and ask me if I wanted to go to a nice coffee house where a famous writer was talking about his last book. I thought may be interesting as I was curious. It was a very nice place, plenty of books and people talking and taking coffee, they were very relaxed. I was talking with the manager and he told me about the place.... which is called HANASICH AKATAN !!! :-)
I think I was very lucky to pass by that street at that time, also because I was raining so much outside.
I had a good chilling time there, talking with some people and waiting for David to come and enjoy together. Of course, I bought the book in Hebrew and I will always remember the nice stories behind it in Israel. | | | Ha Nasich Ha Katan with his book in Hebrew |
