"Geia suo, Ti kaneis?" a Thessaloniki Travel Page by tzuki

Hello everyone!!

I had travelled to Thessaloniki (North Greece) just November last year 2004.
I went to visit a couple of friends who I met during my living in London last years ago.

In previous times, I had visited Greece, Athens (because I have family and friends there) and then visiting some few islands, however, I have never had the opportunity to travel towards the North.

I labelled this intro page as ´Another Greece´ because is in fact another style of living completly different from Athens which always seems to be very ´hectic city´.

In Thessaloniki, people take life more relaxed and have better quality of Life in the possibilities they have access to.

As this time was very short stay (only 4 days) I could not manage to explore more the sorroundings and the city but I am sure I will be back next year some other time.

Besides, the short time I was there I took loads of pictures as usual in me that are under development just at this time.
Hopefully, they will be uploading as I get some free time.

was great going to the street market... passing through fish area, meat, fruit and other.... there are always plenty of shapes (no colours this time) and I really like the high contrast of B/W...giving a sense of mystery sometimes.

some more movement and good point of light creating its particular atmosphere....
