"Krka Refreshment" Krka National Park by raintown4

Krka was just what we needed. Only Eli got a decent amount of sleep on the ferry. Marisa was feeling cranky. I found it difficult to remain alert during the 1 hour drive from Split. But then we got to Krka and into the beautiful cool water and we all revived.

Skradinski

Krka has fantastic beauty. We spent our time at "Skradinski Buk", a part of the river containing many waterfalls. The water was crystal clear and full of fish. We walked through the entire falls on boardwalks and then swam at the base of the final falls. Boat tours are available for exploration of other parts of the park. We lacked sufficient time to go but didn't mind- our primary desire was to get in the water.
