I travel in search of the 9,000-plus species of birds in this world. I enjoy all wildlife and wildflowers, but I've found that birds are the most gratifying because of their beauty, variety, and, often, their fearlessness which allows you to see them so much better than that rare monkey disappearing around the back of a tree. I've taken several Raptours with Bill Clark in search of hawks, eagles, and vultures. I also like to stumble about on my own, hopefully not making too many weird mis-identifications. I"m not too good at keeping this site updated but you can find recent trip reports and updates at my online diary, http://peachfront.diaryland.com. Don't put in any www's or you won't get there. |
