Real food, well prepared and cooked.
Restaurant, Specials Board or Bar Menu.

Good value local produce - no chips or bought in meals. But no expensive frills either - just good, honest food.

Also noted for Real Ales, Wood Fire, Picnic Tables beside the River Spey ...
... with views of the Cairngorm Mountains. Has musical entertainment some nights and sundays, but generally feels like a quiet locals bar. The place to go for an afternoon in the sun, or a wood fire and a pint after the skiing.

Beef Casserole

Nothing too fancy, but in a country of poor food, and Aviemore is generally worse than average, this is not bad.
