Stonehenge - Amazing - But "Out Of Bounds"

Too many people trying to see and feel the stones so now sadly access is denied - and it is somewhat meaningless without being able to "be there" and experience the ambiance and spirituality.
You need to be amongst these huge blocks of stone (though it is actually smaller than you probably expect) to appreciate how amazing it is.

How would you build this, thousands of years ago, before even metal tools were invented?

How, and why were stones transported from South Wales to England and then erected with such precision? And the horizontal lintel stones?

We seem to have forgotten some things. Maybe humans were pretty clever, thousands of years ago!! Certainly a lot of brain power and community organisation seems necessary - things we are losing.

So how were these and the pyramids erected? For some brain food, visit Forgotten Technology
