"Confusing Lima" a Departamento de Lima Travel Page by hartti

It's a little confusing, because there are
1) Lima Province
2) Lima Department
3) Lima District
4) Lima Metropol
5) Lima Town
6) Lima City.

In the concept of vt-pagination, under Department of Lima there are Lima, and suburbs as Miraflores, Pueblo Libre, etc., and same time missing Lima suburbs Jesus Maria, Magdalena del Mar, etc.

Perhaps those towns as Miraflores may exist somewhere. But here I do not mean them. I consider Miraflores as one of Lima suburbs. It is good for instance, having more room for traveloques.

Magdalena del Mar is totally missing. Itīs pity, because there are many interesting places, for instance large market place. I have put Magdalena tips on this site.

Breņa is missing, too! There is a well-known anticucheria, "La Norteņa", which I now include to the tips of this place.

In Magdalena, around the Tupac Amaru Plaza, there are many market halls and other shops. In the halls you may buy many kind of meats, fruits, vegetables, etc. Somewhere there are antique shops and CD pirate sellers, too.

In Jesus Maria, close to Lima center, there is a magnificent restaurant/show place. They offer at lunch time good food with show of local dances. At night, at 10 will begin superb night show. There you may also eat. And what the best: join to dancing, too.
