On Meuse River

The old Roman-time town is situated on the grossing of le Mouzon and Meuse rivers. The river Meuse further leads to the North Sea in form of Maas river.

Old Roman Ruins

The Roman-time name was Solicia or later Soulosse. In the town or in the county there exist still Roman-time ruins and even complete buildings, as amphitheaters and aqueducts. (The photo beside is from Neufch?teau or the area around it, but I do not remember exactly. If anybody knows, please inform me!)
