My Impressions of Innsbruck | Here I am in Central Innsbruck |
I drove to Innsbruck from Salzburg, a short, 2 hour drive or so. Innsbruck is a beautiful valley in the middle of the alps. With a map, it's easy to navigate, but in the city center area, parking is a problem.
I stayed in a hotel that musician Pagnini apparently once stayed in. At my hotel, I also ate and the cuisine is heavily influenced by the Northern Italy style of cooking. My only morning here, I walked about here where I took a few pictures and bought a few Christmas tree Ornaments. |
| | A Fun City Away from the Big Cities My earliest recollections of Innsbruck stemmed from the Olympics held here many years back, 1976 I think. It was the first winter Olympics that I remember. |
