Well, one cannot describe a stay at a hotel any clearer than when descrbing the visit while actually being there. Yes, I am at the Le Meridian hotel in Vienna off the Opern-ring. To get here, if you arrive on a weekday at around 1600, take the bus because the traffic will be slow and thus a cab inconvenient and expensive.
To get here, I took bus to Schwedenplatz which cost €6. Then from there, you can take the U1 train two stops to Karlsplatz Station heading towards Reumannplatz.
The rooms are like an IKEA commercial. Beds very comfortable. There is a free minibar with 2 waters, an orange and apple juice, two bottled cokes, and two beers.
The showers are comfortable and theres a silly pink tub and glass sinks. There is a nice plasma screen tv and internet use is free but you will need to leave your id at the counter to borrow a laptop computer which they onlz have 1. There is a nice gym and the service is very friendly.
Unique Qualities: Free internet access and plasma screen TVs. John Harris fitness club with a nice pool, jacuzzi opened from 900 to 1900 on weekends, 630-2130 on weekdays.
