Just go there Although I was born here I have visited many cities & countries. I have seen how this small city has had massive influeces globally - while having the humility to adopt great ideas back from the rest of the world.
The average Glaswegian is as comfortable talking about The Barras through to the complexity of Picasso - whether they know the detail or not.
Either way the vibrance of the city is based upon a traditional Sots culture of travel and adoption of what has been seen on those adventures.
A taxi driver will tell you stories of Sheiks he / she might know in Abu Dabia through to their next door neighbour of 30 years.
