The village of Crosshill

Crosshill is a tiny mining village in Central Fife on the east coast of Scotland. It has a population of around 1200.
The village is bordered by Lochore Meadows country park, a place where tourists to the area can fish, play golf or picnic when the weather is suitable. (not very often)
The only pub in the village is The Benarty Tavern, a small but comfortable bar / lounge which often has entertainment on at the weekends.

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:Good pub, first class picnic area, golf course
  • Cons:some undesirable housing areas
  • In a nutshell:I've lived here for 28 years so it can't all be bad.
