I flew to Saltzburg in Austria, nothing really there except gangs of Turks in shell suits. Found a dirt cheap hostel called the Yo-Ho and had that as my base. Got the train from Saltzburg up to Berchtesgaden and from there a coach up to Hitlers eagles nest. Worth going, although not a lot left of it up there as the yanks blew it up after the war. |
