Tired after my relatives' marriage - the next morning - our family went to Penang, Malaysia. Since my hair was still good (doing salon + else :P ) I won't change it. So I went and looked like... celebrity (to be exact: Indonesian celeb. More exact: AFI celeb :P ) and I don't care. The hotel was good, exactly located at Batu Fherringgi. So once we go out, and go to the right, there the all evening shops are open to almost midnight. In front of us is Global Bay, where food (including muslim's food) is serving. On the left of if is a small mall where KFC is located (but we knew it later) and infront of Global Bay is a taxi pool. so it's really strategic |

Shopping, shopping but... ok, shopping is always fun.. but the problem is... there's almost nothing I can buy at Batu Fherringgi. Most souvenir that they sell are coming from Thai, China, and... Indonesia (my own country..). So, the things I can buy mostly are magnetics, key, the Petronas souvenirs, and whatever which writter with "Penang" or "Malaysia". Thank god the malls are better. At least I buy... SHOES... at Gurney Drive Mall which selling branded stuff. Then I hunt more at Perangin Mall that next to Komtar which selling more varied stuff from local made to branded. I guess, the most "made in malaysia" that we (especially my mom) hunt is VINNCI and BONIA (shoes). Bonia is well known as good stuff, hardly to broke, and mm... more expensive. but I think it's worth it. |

What about the beach...? I only visit once.. and to take the pictures. Never specially enjoy it. First because I don't like to get wet. Second, I have influenza + cough (allergy) & I'm also still too tired from that marriage stuff including lack of sleeping. Three, I'd better pursue for travel and.. shopping :P The beach, however, is nice.
