Picturesque Medieval Town This may be Germany's best preserved medieval town. Therefore, it is filled with tourists. The town wall is still fully intact. We spent two nights here, and I think that's a minimal stay. The shopping is fantastic. If you want to spend alot of money in Germany, do it here. |
| | Spend Some Time The town is full of beautiful buildings, charming alleys, outdoor restaurants, fountains, and cobblestone streets. Don't be a in a rush. Many folks stop here for an afternoon bus tour. You can't enjoy Rothenburg in less than one day. In fact, if you stick around you can enjoy the quiet evenings once all the busses have left. Plus some of the best historic tours are best taken in the evening. |
