Yalta is a resort area and there are many things to see there. You can see mostly people who came on vacation in Yalta, and a lot of pocket pickers as in a lot of big cities. So watch you pockets and relax at the same time. We had fun there ,the prices are OK, and a lot of thing to do even in fall. I really like their trolleys and boardwalk.

Boardwalk in Yalta is a nice place for an evening stroll : shops, café, restraints, big Catholic cathedral and little Orthodox chapel ,sculptures from Russian famous writer Chehov’s stories and of course sea embankment with little private yachts ,and much more that you can see. Who can believe that many years ago on this particular spot was just a stop of a long Post rout (mail) from Sevastopol. After Yalta became part of Russia and General Governor Vorontsov ’s possessions extended when Tavrida became a part of Novorossiysk region he was one who started to develop this place & turned it into Resort.
