Montreal is one of the places that is close enough to get to but one I never thought to explore. I lived in Toronto for 3 years and Montreal was always looked at as those 'French separatists' or something like that, so I never went. Also, being from Boston, Montreal's hockey team was always the enemy.
But I put those feelings aside last fall and spent the long weekend in the city and enjoyed it immensely. |
