Taos is located about 70 miles north of Santa Fe at the base of the Sangre De Christo mountains. It's mainly known for it's quaint, arty shops, skiing and the Taos Pueblo. The ride alone is worth it as you wind along the Rio Grande valley. Taos can also be the base for many side trips such as the Rio Grande Gorge bridge and the Enchanted Circle. |
| | The Pueblo at Taos is a must-see only for the best look at how Native Americans lived hundreds of years ago. |
