Smart Hotel and other Mellieha, Malta Hotel/Accommodation Reviews

I read a lot of bad reports about this hotel some people said it was not up to 4stars.
I have always wanted to stay at the Hotel Seabank so when the price was right I booked to stay there.

This hotel as a lot of facilitys 2 bars three restaurants a gym indoor pool health sauna and massage treatment a bowling alley internet cafe these are on site there are more at the Tunny Net complexe open in summer only.
I think this Hotel is of a 4star quality.

The reception area is roman? in style with columbs and arches plus a bar with music most nights.

The restaurants is light and spacious with a lot of variety of different dishes. The food quality was good and I was not disapionted.

The bedrooms are furnished to a good standard with and hair dryer in the bathroom which had plenty of room.
the bedroom there was plenty of wardrobe space with two drawes in the dressing table plus a tv and fridge.
The safe and tea and coffee tray we had to pay for but remember when a tour company as finished knocking the hotel prices down the have to re-coupe the money from somewere.This also reflects on the food not only at this hotel but others also, not to say the food is bad but you will not be given bigg steaks ore large pork chops etc.

As for entertainment there was a group on most nights and varios things duering the day.

In all a was impressed by the service and friendlyness of the staff a very enjoyable stay.

Unique Qualities: Leisure and hotel facilities. The food in the restaurant. This hotel catters for all ages.

I have stayed at this hotel twice now.
It is near the church in Mellieha.
It is a small modest hotel with a bar lounge area and restaurant with entertainment some nights.
The food was good and the bed rooms are ok with AC and TV.
There is a small pool in front of the hotel.
Like i say it is a modest hotel that is kept clean with friendly staff and is owned by the Vela family.
I have had two good holidays at this hotel.

Unique Qualities: The view from the front of the hotel is fantastic.
Mellieha is on a hill and from the Hotel Panorama this is owe it gets its name You can see all of Mellieha bay and the Islands Gozo and Comino.
