"Mellieha." a Mellieha Travel Page by intertraveler

This was my third visit to Mellieha which is a resort but it is were a lot of Maltese people live. It is a lot quiter than most of the other resorts.

Mellieha as one of the best beaches on the Island with the Seabank Hotel and the Mellieha Bay Hotel at the other side of the bay. there are restaurants and a few bars around the beach area.
The main part is in the village put you have to walk or catch a bus up a big hill, my wife christened it cardiac hill.
The village as a lot of charm with some good restaurants and bars plus quite a few shops the people are very friendly.
They have built two new hotels on the main street which look smart from the outside.
The bus service is very good also and the village is not far from were you catch the ferry for gozo.

The main reason I go to malta in winter is there is much to see and it is not to hot much comfort for traveling.
