What A Great Place

We have just returned from a weekend in Prague.
This city as a lot of magnificant architecture especial the Castle and the old town. There is that much to see. The old town square with the famous clock you can take a ride on a horse drawn carridge or sit in one of the cafes and watch the world go by.drink is more expensive in the square.
Going over the Charles Brdge leading up to the Castle as some very interesting buildings also.

There are a lot of boat rides along the river, also you can go on a guided trip around the bars.

There are a lot of shops which seem more expensive than the UK. Plenty of desighner and shops selling crysal also a lot of jewlers.

Drinking beer is one of the famous pastimes in Prague especialy from about 60p a pint but some bars are a lot more expensive we sat down in a cafe and it was over £2 a pint so be carefull were you drink.
In our hotel it was about £1-50 a pint which you can expect .

Eating out is very good we had two great meels including drinks for less than £20 for 2 people.

Pros:Great place for the weekend.
Cons:A lot of walking take some good shoes

Michael, I love your sort of tips very much. Very practical. This definitely sounds like the hotel for my next private trip to Prague). I visited it in 1997 on an official mission.
