I will keep it brief so you can get on and read my Travel pages and tips!
I am 29 years old born in Reading UK with a love for travel and all things different.

There are so many places that I want to visit Australia, Singapore, Kenya, Thailand, Brazil, South Africa and so many more the list is endless.

In my travel pages I have tried to steer away from telling you about the typical sites and giving you information that you can read in Lonely Planet and instead tried to convey my own experiences.

The other day, I was sat in a Taxi in Alexandria, Egypt and was chatting to the driver. He mentioned how he had always wanted to visit Luxor and the Valley of the Kings but had never had the opportunity and had only ever been to Cairo besides his home city. It got me thinking about how we take out own countries for granted sometimes. We are so busy going about our everyday lives ,going to work, rushing here, rushing there that most of us don't notice the small things that we tend to notice when in another country.

Maybe we need to see our surroundings with 'fresh eyes' . Take me for example. Born in England yet have never been to Scotland, Wales, Ireland and have only been up North once. So I have decided that I am going to try and travel to 5 places in the UK that I have never been to within the next 12 months.

So far I have the following:-

1)Scotland -Edinburgh
2)Wales
3)Newcastle
4)Liverpool
5)Cambridge - not sure why but think it would be interesting.
