|  | Rain Forest on the edge of the Ocean Los Buzos is on the sea and in a tropical rain forest area at the edge the hills, as well. Not mountainous, but very hilly. Tonosí, which is about 20 miles away (30 kms) is the closest ¨big¨ town, but it takes 40-45 minutes to get there as it is very hilly in between. The roads twist and turn and switch back. It is a beautiful, if not circuitous trip to get here by car. |
| | The Bottom of North America We are near the physical bottom of North America. Cerro Hoya National Park is next door with its diversity of flora and fauna, not to mention it's breathtaking waterfalls and thermal pools. Great place to hike, birdwatch, and commune with nature. |
