Gem of the Indian Ocean

Ever wanted to go where seldom do venture? Somewhere where tourist facilities are limited, locals are hospitable, and the natural environment is still rather pristine, then Christmas & Cocos Island is where its at. Sure there is not much to do or see but thats what make it a true relaxing holiday.

Christmas Island

The population of Christmas Island is 1200 or so people but renting a car and driving across the island you will virtually see no one. This allows you ample time to relax in solitude at a few of the nice beaches.

Unique animals

Approximately 63% of Christmas Island is a national park and therefore a great place to wander and check out the bird life. Here a bobbie watches over his nest during the early hours of the morning.
