The Royal Palace and the Tajo River Aranjuez is not far from Madrid. You can make a one-day-trip there. With the train from Atocha you go there 30 minutes. There is the summer palace of the King`s family. There are a imposant palace and very beautiful gardens on the Tajo River. So when you want to take the rest of Madrid go to Aranjuez and enjoy it green and peace. |

Nice looking place! Never been to Spain, but I imagine a break from Madrid is needed once in a while. |
