Nightlife Spot: Get The Low-Down
A good thing to do if you just got into town is pick up an L.A. Weekly. It's a free newspaper that is on most street corners or shoppes. If you don't see it, ask around and someone will know who has it. You can find out what shows and clubs are happening that week as well as other 'LA' stuff of interest.

Nightlife Spot: Other Nightclubs
this is a cool little spot in echo park, near Silverlake. There are lots of different bands/djs that play here…it is very downscale. The crowd has lots of style and you’ll see all types of people. It is definitely for those who are really into the music scene and who really came to dance, that’s why I love it.
