You might miss this town on to Mammoth, but if you are an explorer, there is much to see! The beautiful Mount Whitney graces the landscape of this little town. It is a great home base for outdoor adventure, visiting ghost towns and historical sites.
- Pros:closer to LA than Bishop or Mammoth
- Cons:2 days here is enough, then move on!
- In a nutshell:endless exploration
