After a WET, bouncy and at times even a bit scary 30 min boat ride you are welcomed by the incredible beauty of the Perhentians and the whitest and softest powdery sand you can imagine. These islands are simply pure bliss for the eyes and soul. Water is so crystal clear, and underwater a world of multicoloured beauty awaits you to see its wonders. |

| | It was so relaxing to just laze around and watch the lovely turquoise sea, but equally great was to go underwater. The highlight of our trip was definitely snorkeling with huge turtles. It was so incredible to see these creatures I have seen in so many nature documents on TV and to be able to watch them from such a short distance. I think seeing the turtles is definitely one of the best moments in my life so far and it was actually quite a moving experience. |

| | The islands offer just the basic amenities, but that's all you really need there. There are small shops to buy drinks and snacks and to book tours from. Diving schools for divers and water taxis to go around the islands. And add to this the delicious food, what more could you need. Well, sun cream and use plenty of it ;-). |
