My ideal holiday

Somewhere over Malaysia

My ideal holiday is a combination of city and beach, but not necessarily at the same time; a couple of days in a big city fulfilling my endless passion for shopping followed by a holiday in a beach destination. Now, don't get me wrong. I am not one of those people, who spent their entire time just on the beach grilling themselves in the sun. I can last maybe one hour of sunbathing and doing nothing, but that's it, then I need to do something else, go snorkeling or sightseeing etc. (I also get sun burned very easily...) To me its just important to be near the sea, to be able to go for a walk on the beach while sun is setting or hear the waves crashing to the shore. I love to watch the sea, it calmes me down.

Other interests besides travelling

Tikru

I love good food and wine, especially Italian food. And my favourite drink has to be champagne! Oh, and I'm a chocoholic! I would love to make a trip to Belgium, just to visit chocolate museums, factories and taste lots of different yummy chocolates.

I love animals, cats and horses especially. Well, almost all animals except snakes and spiders. Lizards are my newest interest; maybe one day I'll have one. I bought a shire horse with my husband in May 2008 so I haven't spent much time in VT lately, been to the stables instead =)

I love to learn new languages. I speak Finnish, English, Russian and Swedish plus a little bit of French, but I really should try to improve my French skills, because I've forgotten almost everything.

My proudest VT moment

This has to be my proudest moment in VT. My picture of Tobago was chose as the secret location on giampiero6's VT location poll. I am not good at taking pictures, but I have to say I like this picture very much too ;-). Thanks also to RexBibendi for letting me know about this!

Our beautiful horse

Highland Beyonce

She is a 2,5 year old shire filly and absolutely adorable. I fell in love with her the minute I saw her. She will be a big mare, measuring now 177 cm and growing all the time. We plan to train her as a riding horse and also use her in front of a carriage.
