Dhahran BBQ: Go to a BBQ

Aramco's Dhahran Community has BBQ's every week in 3 locations. Generally they are on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. They offer a variety of different things on thier menu such as schwarma's, bbq chicken, shishkabobs, burgers, hotdogs, etc. They also have sides such as salads, french fries, baked potatoes, corn ont he cob, and fresh made cheese bread. You will find them located at the Dhahran Hills Recreation Center, the Dhahran Hills Park, and the 3rd Street Recreation Center. They are a lot of fun. A great way to spend time with your family and friends.

Rolling Hills Fitness Trail: Run, Jog, or walk

Aramco's Dhahran community has a really nice trail for walking, jogging, and running. At night it is lit by lights throughout the entire trail. It is set up so that you can use the entire trail plus, sidewalks or just certain parts of the trail, depending on how long you would like to go. Night time is a nice time to go, since the sun is down and it is a bit cooler. Also you don't have to worry about sunburn!

You will also find an area for outdoor fitnnes along the trail for doing stretches, as well as pull ups, etc.

You won't find much night life here, as it is not part of the culture here in Saudi Arabia. So we make our own! Spending time with our families and with our friends. Invite some one over, accept an invitiation to their home, or meet in one of the beautiful parks' here on a nice night with low or no humidity.
