This skyline gave me my first impression: what a modern city, almost making me to think I was not in China anymore.
But it was the wrong first impression. Shanghai is truly chinese, combining the modernity of its early development to its ancient history.
The city is vibrating, never-stopping traffic, full of contrasts and people everywhere.
Worth to visit is its downtown, the surroundings of Nanjing street and Pudong. Well, at least what we could get to know in three short days there.
Further opportunities will surely come... |
