This is the city I lived in for some 8 months between mid 1997 and 1998.
It was a great experience to be there as a student, to learn and practice my german, to know people from around the world (including some good friends) and to enjoy a great time travelling.
Munich has the unique quality to be right in the middle of Europe, so you can get connections to almost every interesting city in less than half day/night.
In 2000 I returned to Munich, this time during a business trip to Europe.
It is always a great city to visit in Germany. You will not regret.
- Pros:Cosmopolitan city.
