After arriving by ship from Stockholm in Turku early in the morning, I still had a three-hour ride on a train to Helsinki.

There I would have enough time to know the city and to meet another friend.

When compared to another european capitals, Helsinki is at the first glance a shy and small city... but you change your mind quickly after getting around.

Some points of interest are the Sibelius monument, the Cathedral and official buildings downtown, the harbor, where you can meet the huge transatlantic ships beeing built, and much more...
