Ilha Bela is a wonderful spot for both beach and diving activities... First time there was last February during a trip supposed to end somewhere else. Some sudden misfortunes in the primary intended destination (Praia Grande in Sao Paulo coast) made us head instead to Ilha Bela, where we had indeed fortune to have a great sunny day and two nice and relaxing dives.
