Seoul was a great surprise for us. We visited the city during the Spring Festival (or Chinese New Year) holidays and we really thought we would find in South Korea the same turmoil as the holidays cause in China. Surprisingly it had not.
The city is a huge capital, well organized, comprehensive transportation network and lively districts, mixes the new and the old in such a way that will make the tourist feel like home and not feeling like leaving anymore.
Attractions are the various Palaces such as Gyeongbokgung, Changdeokgung, Changyeonggung, lively day and night markets and shopping malls as Dongdaemun and Nandaemun, parks such as Namsan Park and its Tower, the Olympic Park, and interesting places as Insadong, where you can experience the real Korean culture, and Itaewon, bustling with a large number of foreigners and some western style.
Enjoy my pages and tips. Make my visit yours!
