That is what travelling is all about: take new paths, discover new worlds, meet interesting people, exchange cultures, try different tastes...

Every time I come back home I feel I carry much more than my luggage: I carry new experiences, new friends, new tastes, new sights... and after all I am not exactly the same person I was before.

Something about myself: I am Brazilian, son of Brazilian mom and Argentine dad. Right from the beginning my life has been about travelling. And I am really fond of the idea of getting somewhere else... I have gotten used to it anyway.

I've been working in some pages - some old ones from my first European trip - but also some pages of our recent trips.

Since 1999 my travel mate has been my lovely Perla, my wife... here we are in the Summer Palace in Beijing, China.

We had similar travel experiences before knowing each other and that is why we love to travel... and travel together is even better and funnier.

So, now and then you can also find in this website a picture of us or of her in one of our recent trips.

After almost two years without setting foot on my VT pages, I finally had the chance to update them a little bit, although not satisfactorily in my point of view...

Since the last real update, which was about 5 years ago, when we were going back to our home country and leaving China, lots of things and travels happened.

Some great holidays spent in Northeast Brazil at the beach on Sept. 2008 and May 2010. Some weekend trips to São Bento do Sul and beaches nearby in southern Brazil. Some business trips in Brazil and to Argentina. And more recently some short stays in Paris, France, during long haul trips to Asia.

And since Nov.2009 we are back to the Middle Kingdom for more three (at least) years of new experiences and travels. Stay tuned...

Some past Stops...
Year End 2004 spent on vacations in Brazil, back home. Some new pages, as the lovely Sao Bento do Sul, are not completely built yet. Soon more to come.

January 30th-31st 2005 were spent on Harbin, north of China, where we had the chance to visit the famous "Ice and Snow Festivals".

Mid February 2005 - Spring Holiday in Asia - was spent in South Korea - Seoul and Gyeongju.

April 2005 ended with a short business trip to Ingolstadt, Germany.

May 2005 began in the amazing Cambodia and the Angkor temples - Phnom Penh and Siem Reap... Updates soon as well.

Mid May 2005 included a short weekend trip to Beijing...

July 2005 we spent a weekend in Dalian, China. Check out the new pages.

August 2005 ended on a business trip to Puebla, Mexico, ... check the newest updates.

September 2005 began with a weekend trip to Beijing, just to feel a little bit the rush of a big Chinese city...

September 2005 ended with a weekend trip to Jilin and the nearby Songhua lake. Amazing landscapes and good time among friends. Pages are not built yet: coming soon.

From October 1st 2005on we took vacations in Singapore, Malaysia (Pulau Perhentian and Kuala Lumpur) and Thailand (Phuket, Ko Phi Phi, Ko Samui, Ko Phangan and Bangkok)! Amazing places...

Early November 2005 we headed back to our hometown Curitiba, Southern Brazil...

On December 2005 we spent a weekend in Sao Bento do Sul, 110km from here... town settled by German immigrants... where my sister lives. Christmas in Curitiba (at home) and New Year's in Capão Bonito...

Mid January 2006 we went visiting some friends in Salto, Sorocaba and São Paulo... it was a long weekend indeed!

Some trips in 2006 to São Paulo, Resende and Penedo (Rio de Janeiro state). End 2006 short tourism trip to Buenos Aires, Argentina.

In 2007 my dear son Bernardo was born in July. Vacations cancelled for a while...

In 2008 two business trips again to Buenos Aires and great vacations in Maragogi, Alagoas state, Northeast Brazil.

January 2009 began with great news that my dear daughter would arrive someday in September and that made us cancel our holiday plans for February in Chile... September she arrived and 50 days after we arrived again in China, after a couple of days in Paris, France.

May 2010 home-leave to Brazil, visiting relatives and friends, med check-ups and fantastic vacations at Praia do Forte, Bahia state, Northeast Brazil. And then back to China...

August and September short trips to Beijing, China and business trip to Chengdu, China.

Next stops...
Business trip to Brazil late October, probably another business trip to Mexico mid December, year end holidays in Brazil and lots of miles still to fly.
