Phuket Islands, a paradise on the Southern Thailand is a gateway to even more paradises. As the flight lands at the Phuket International airport, you can get a glimpse of the paradise as the ocean waters are close to the airport. A number of small towns together constitute the Phuket Islands and there are a lot of nice beaches spread across. Most of the visitors head straight to Patong Beach where one can find a lot of budget accomodations closer to a reasonably clean and sandy beach.

There are also a number of restaurants in Patong Beach to satisfy every food enthusiast. Many of the restaurants however are over priced but mostly affordable as it wouldnt put a big dent in one's pocket. Most restaurants are open quite late into the night so that no one would go hungry even if they come back late after visiting some of the islands off Phuket.

The Island of Phuket is basically a place of relaxation and rest. There are a number of islands off the Phuket Islands which can be explored on a day trip. Some of the most memorable and not to be missed ones are Ko Phi Phi Don, Phang Nga and James Bond Islands. The white sandy beaches on these islands are soft on the legs and lavished with crystal clear waters. The scenery enroute to these islands are just spectacular and a photographer's dream.
