Again one of these must-see places. No matter whether you like it or not, you just have to experience this city, and visit all the places you see on TV.

We stayed here for a couple of nights and it was great. There is so much to see and do, even if you are not into gambling yourself. I spent exactly 1 quarter in a slot machine.

In general, the tourist part of Las Vegas can be divided in two parts. The Strip with all the Mega-hotels, where you most likely will spend most of your time. Every hotel is a themepark by itself, with shopping-malls, shows, attractions, restaurants, etc. all following the theme of the hotel, such the "italian" Bellagio, with a replica of the Como-lake in front of it, or the "roman" Ceasar's Palace, the "french" hotel Paris with Eiffel tower, hotel New York New York, the Venetian, the medieval hotel Excalibur, etc.

The other part is downtown Las Vegas. This is where it all started. Here you find casinos like the well-known Golden Nugget, but also the famous Las Vegas icons "Vegas Vic" (you know him when you see him) and his female counterpart "Vegas Vicky".

Both the Strip and Downtown are filled with casinos. Nevertheless, in a way, both areas have a completely different atmosphere.
