I live in Papendrecht, only a 15 minutes drive from Rotterdam. However, I do not regard myself as a tourist expert on the city.
So I humbly leave the expert tips on this destination to other people.
The picture shows the "Oude Haven" which means Old Harbour. This harbour is lined with terraces in the summer and the best place for a sunny afternoon drink.
In the middle of the picture you see both the "Pencil" house and the cube houses (houses in the shape of a cube standing on one corner)
The Oude Haven is found across the street from train and metro station Blaak and is a brisk 10 minute walk from the shopping district.
